HEC Paris, a leading global institution
HEC Paris has two primary missions: to train the global leaders of tomorrow, and to take an active part in producing knowledge of successful management. Ever since its creation in 1881 by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, HEC Paris has aimed to train individuals with great potential. What makes HEC Paris unique is its conviction that knowledge creates the freedom and entrepreneurship necessary for a better world. The entire HEC Paris community shares this conviction, which is affirmed by the motto: “The more you know, the more you dare.”
HEC Paris achieves its goals thanks to its high-quality research environment, which underpins academic innovation and strong relationships with the corporate sector. These two essential elements give the HEC Paris community the necessary tools and background to challenge established rules and to invent, rather than simply reproduce, new social and economic paradigms.
