About Margaret de Lattre de Lattre

Margaret de Lattre de Lattre

Margaret de Lattre is an Associate Client Director at Henley Business School. She works with senior leaders to build their confidence and ability to lead and implement change, with a focus on how to lead for engagement and commitment over and above mere compliance. She takes a special interest in helping organisations deliver culture change and organisation change in complex or uncertain contexts, and to help the leaders of those organisations step up to the challenges of making a difference at the top while bringing their organisation with them. Margaret works in both the public and private sectors in the UK and around the world. After university and an initial career in operations in the travel industry, Margaret completed an MBA and moved into Organisation Development – her first task being to ‘implement the new mission, vision, and values’ for her employer. It was at this point that the significance on leading large scale complex change really struck home! Over the next 12 years, she developed her insights into this subject through practical experience of running change programmes in industry and then as a change management consultant with two of the Big Four firms. Having led the Organisation Change Practice for Cap Gemini in the UK, she moved into academia in 2004. Since then she has been researching and teaching on the subject of organisation change for 3 of the UK’s leading business schools including Henley, while continuing to offer consultancy support to clients. In recent years she has worked with BG Group, BP, Kingfisher, Urenco, HSBC, Roche Diagnostics, IMEC, various UK government departments, the governments of Abu Dhabi and the UAE, as well as a range of entreprenurial small businesses and family firms. Margaret is also an experienced facilitator of both large and small group processes and is the Programme Director for Advanced Management Practice.
