Sydney Finkelstein, the Steven Roth Professor of Management at Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College, is a renowned expert on leadership – and a double laureate on the Thinkers50 lists. He has recently published his new book Superbosses, based on 10 years of research and interviews with leaders across a wide variety of organizations.

IEDP Editorial Director, Roddy Millar, is joined by Prof Finkelstein here to discuss the book, the main drivers behind it and what it takes to become a Superboss. The podcast is part of a new series co-hosted by Roddy, which explores what it takes to create sustainable, innovative cultures in organizations.

Innovation Ecosytem podcasts will be broadcast each week, with a conversation with a leading executive, academic or performer who is at the top-of-their-game and has proven innovation expertise.

Creating innovative environments in organizations is vitally important for all businesses and institutions today – but it is hard to do and takes a lot of time and energy. These podcasts will allow time-pressed individuals at all levels in an organization to learn from the experiences of others, and crucially get ‘permission’ to behave in new and bold ways to encourage innovation in their working – and personal lives.
