The Eleventh Annual Women in Business Conference will be taking place at the London School of Business (LBS) on 5 March 2011.
Designed to address and inspire the “next generation of high potential women,” the theme for this year is “Closing Gaps: The Next Stage in Women’s Leadership.” Every year, the Conference helps women to learn how to succeed as managers, leaders and organizational visionaries.
Last year’s keynote speakers were Dr Lynda Gratton (Professor of Management Practice at LBS) and Helen Alexander, CBE (President of CBI). This year, Dame Mary Marsh, Founding Director of the Clore Social Leadership Programme, and Sally Tennant, CEO of Klienwort Benson will take the lead at the Conference.
The Clore Social Leadership Programme works at identifying and developing leaders in the “third sector,” which includes charities, community organizations, social enterprises, etc. Prior to working for the Programme, Dame Marsh was Chief Executive of NSPCC.
Tickets for the Conference will go on sale in January.
