In order to provide the best educational experience, SEEC Faculty is comprised of three learned and diverse groups. Firstly, we utilise the top academics from the Schulich School of Business and York University. Secondly, we will seek out area specialists from other top-ranked business schools from around the world. Lastly, we regularly utilise leading business practitioners in our courses to provide real-world experience and insight to our executive students.
SEEC's Programs
At SEEC we know our clients have multiple learning requirements and we offer a wide range of business topics and course formats to meet those needs. For individuals, SEEC offers two-, three-, and five-day open enrollment courses, which allow our executive students, in a very short time, to refresh their knowledge in specific business areas or learn complimentary skills to their existing business knowledge. In addition, SEEC offers several intensive longer term open programs, covering in full detail areas such as Operational Risk Management, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Six Sigma and Project Management. These longer term programs range from 18-20 days and are spread out over the semester. For Corporations and Governments, SEEC offers short programs to respond to "just in time" training requirements as well as longer and in depth Corporate University programs. Our Corporate University programs are developed specifically for each client and cover a wide range of subjects based on customer needs and expectations. Our methodology involves establishing the key advisors in each organization to guide the project, an extensive needs analysis of the organization developed by interviewing key executives and participants, the development of goal oriented curriculum based on these findings and a significant experiential learning component designed to ensure our executive students "learn by doing" and apply the theoretical to real organizational issues.
In brief Four points combine to make SEEC's executive and management education distinctive and superior: 1. A focus on leadership and strategic skills in globally diverse environments facing rapid change and the need for innovation in product, process and practice. 2. Extensive needs analysis conducted for every client to ensure that the training solution and faculty meet the client's objectives and deliver measurable returns. 3. Faculty drawn from the best at the Schulich School of Business, from other globally ranked business schools and from experienced practitioners mean that our education and training is up-to-date conceptually but is founded in real world experience and application. 4. Extensive use of both experiential and action learning projects that ensure that our participants learn by application.
