Certificate in Business Excellence: Receive Select Columbia Business School Alumni Benefits

The Certificate in Business Excellence is exclusive to Columbia Business School Executive Education and provides today's executives the opportunity to attend the programs that mean the most to their career development. Participants earn the Certificate in Business Excellence by attending a total of 18 days of programs within a four-year period. Any program from our open enrollment program portfolio can be applied toward the completion of the certificate. Participants can design the curriculum to best meet their needs. Coaching sessions are also available to ensure that the executive’s certificate addresses the subjects most critical to meeting their goals.

The Certificate in Business Excellence can be used for company-wide personnel development. With the assistance of learning specialists, corporations can match programming to their organizational competencies in order to create the desired series of programs that best meet established goals. A jointly named Certificate in Business Excellence between Columbia Business School and individual corporations is also available.

Catering to executives at every stage of their careers, our non-degree open programs address individual development needs in leadership, strategy, marketing, finance and social enterprise. Participants represent a variety of industries from companies around the world.

We partner with custom clients on organizational initiatives that enable a critical number of top-level executives to meet their corporation’s strategic goals. From the beginning, faculty members are part of the process to help build the most relevant curriculum for your organization’s needs.

Programs in Social Enterprise:

Our Programs in Social Enterprise applies business skills to the solution of social problems locally and throughout the world. The Programs in Social Enterprise serves its traditional base in New York City's community-based nonprofits, as well as other nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and businesses in the New York region, across the nation and the world. Program options are designed to address relevant topics such as emissions trading, alternative energy, and corporate social responsibility.
