Senior managers and decision-makers in organizations are highlighted by the London Business School (LBS) as recommended participants for their “Negotiating and Influencing Skills for Senior Managers” program next year. Starting on 13 March 2011 and taking place over five days, the programme aims to create an understanding of the different types of negotiation, as well as the tools to ensure positive outcomes.
The teaching faculty comprises three professors of organizational behaviour, including the faculty’s Deputy Dean Professor Randall Peterson. Professor Peterson specializes in understanding the impact of CEO personality on organizations, as well as conflict management and interpersonal skill development. He was also awarded the LBS Teaching Award for Innovation in Learning in 2004, and has previously taught at Cornell and Northwestern Universities.
Also teaching will be Professor Madan Pillutla and Assistant Professor Gillian Ku. Together, they will give participants one-on-one coaching sessions in the different types of negotiation over the five-day course.
Previous participants of LBS executive programs have included senior executives from Thames Water, Shell People Services, Lufthansa Cargo, Financial Times and many more.
