For entrepreneurs who want to make it happen in China!
Differences in culture, language and legal systems can be extremely challenging for a starting company in China. Therefore, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Shanghai, De Baak is providing an annual training program for Dutch businesses and entrepreneurs that want to learn and gain an understanding of these challenges in order to create a successful company on the Chinese mainland.
Location/Duration: One week, Shanghai, China
This unique program is supported by a group of entrepreneurs who have experience in doing business in China. These China-entrepreneurs will share their experiences and coach you through the process. Learn from the experience of others who have gone before you. Save time and investment on getting into the right network with advisors and even within the Chinese government.
“In Shanghai there is a strong community of experienced Dutch entrepreneurs and business people. They are willing to share their knowledge and experience with newcomers, but in practice this happens infrequently. Through this “Dutch Chinese Entrepreneurship Program” we hope to facilitate newcomers by engaging 'old hands'. - Eric Verwaal, Consul General of The Kingdom of the Netherlands in Shanghai

The program provides you the practical knowledge, personal insights and network required to get things done. You will develop your international entrepreneurial skills; cross-cultural understanding; strategic as well as market-oriented thinking; and by doing so, build your business in China simultaneously.
“ A strong network is one of the most valuable assets you need the obtain, when starting a successful venture in China. The Dutch Chinese Entrepreneurship Program gives you the possibility to access a network more quickly, so you can focus on your core business from the start, and lower your time investment significantly.” - Peter Buytaert, Chairman Bencham Shanghai
