This is a modular programme offering applied, practical insights into approaches to consulting at times of change. It is informed by leading-edge theory and practice. After completing this programme you will:
Improve your internal and external relationships and better understand clients real issues
Have a better understanding of your role as a consultant to facilitate change
Have a greater awareness of organisational dynamics and your participation within these
Know which interventions to use and how to use them
Have the capacity and confidence to respond to complex change initiatives.
It is ideal if you want to learn through exploration, practice and reflection on what you experience. For managers and team leaders this can complement general management, change management and project management capabilities. This programme is tailored to support the development of your consulting skills to help you add greater value as business partners and with external stakeholders.
Highly interactive and experiential, the programme encourages you to inquire into your current professional challenges and context, and offers opportunities to integrate new understanding and insight with new practice. Consulting Practice Groups are established during the first module and continue virtually between the modules during the entire programme. The purpose of these is to further hone your consulting skills and strategies with peers, where you will receive support, challenge and feedback to further help integration into your everyday work.
You will have many opportunities to practice and enhance your approach to consulting, including practicing with specially trained professional actors and consulting real-time to Ashridge’s own clients for one day. All of the tutors are experienced practicing consultants who work with Ashridge Consulting.
